Located 50 miles from Philadelphia, PA, 70 miles from Baltimore, MD, 100 miles from Washington, DC. Featuring the largest freshwater millpond in Delaware, the centrally located Lums Pond State Park offers plenty of recreational opportunities throughout the park and around the area. The park has several miles of trails developed for hiking, biking, and equestrian use with views of the pond and peace in the hardwood forest. An R/C air field is provided for model plane enthusiasts to fly around. Park Events: Warbirds Over Delaware (R/C plane event), Sunset Yoga and Astronomy events. Area Attractions: Sunset Stables Equestrian Center (adjacent to the park), Michael Castle C&D Canal Trail (1 mile), Historic Chesapeake City Maryland (8 miles), Historic Delaware City (9 miles), Fort Delaware State Park in Delaware City (9 miles), University of Delaware in Newark (10 miles), Historic Port Penn (11 miles), Historic New Castle (12 miles), White Clay Creek State Park in Newark (12 miles), Christiana Mall (12 miles), Cecil College near North East MD (20 miles), Downtown Wilmington (20 miles) and Wilmington Blue Rocks Baseball (19 miles).

Open year round! Reservations required. Must call (877) 987-2757 and mention promo code DEPASS5020 at time of reservation to receive discount or reserve online and use promo code. PA discount is valid the week after Labor Day thru the week before Memorial Day. Two nights minimum stay required. PA discount is valid Sunday thru Thursday nights only. PA discount is not valid during holidays. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome. *Rates vary based on the time of year. $4 transaction fee per reservation.
Directions
From the North: take I-95 South to exit 1A (Middletown & 896 South) about 8 miles to Rt. 71/301. Turn left onto Rt. 71/301. Go northeast about 1 mile. Campground is on the left. From the South: Take 896/301 North. Go over Summit Bridge. At the bottom of Summit Bridge turn right onto Rt. 71/301. Go northeast about 1 mile. Campground is on the left.
