This is the best Passport Park we have ever stayed with. The Park had all the amenities you would need or want. It is in the hills of Platte City so it is on different levels. All of the sites we saw are level, paved or gravel with grass walkways. The club rooms, showers, restrooms, grounds, laundry, etc. are kept tidy and clean. The management & staff are always courteous, friendly & helpful. It even has a lake. It is a lovely park, well maintained; I would recommend it to anyone. Some may be unaware of the qualities of this area & park because it is out of Kansas City but it is a great area and just minutes away from anywhere. We quickly learned which roads would take us where we wanted to explore. I would stay in this Park again when ever we are in this area.
Stayed a week in August 2010 in a big rig. Campground has 50/30/20 service full hookup and nice long and wide space with forest across stream and Blue Ridge Parkway about 5 miles away. Peaceful and quiet mountain setting close to Asheville. Used as base for day trips on motorcycle.
