Triple Creek RV Music Park is an utterly unique RV park that is located just outside of Woodville, Texas in the quiet remote areas of a forest. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of tranquil nature. Our claim to fame is taking our instruments out and playing music. We make music, and lots of it!! Both locals and RVers gather in our "Jam Shack" to play music. We highlight Gospel, Old Country, & Bluegrass but you are welcome to play other genres. Our jam sessions are informal musical events where musicians play their tunes, songs, and run those chord progressions. You are welcome to participate in the circle of musicians and start making memories. Word of caution, we really are out in the sticks! We like it this way. But, we do have 30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer site hookups. Guests can enjoy access to shower, restroom, laundry facilities, propane, & US Mail service. We don't have cable TV, but we entertain ourselves playing our instruments to make music!
Music Jams, Potluck suppers, and more.
My wife and I just spent three nights there, and while the grounds of the campground are OK, it's the people that make this place special. The owners, Karen and husband, Mark, always seemed to be available to make our stay pleasant, answer questions, and invite us to some informal gatherings at jam sessions. Being a professional musician, connecting with other musicians was a draw for me, and the jam sessions did just that, with lots of talent present (Karen plays a MEAN washtub bass). We came after the weekend, so the number of musicians was limited to those residing at the camp and a couple of we transients. If you're a musician, this place is a must stop destination, if you don't play, but like to listen, ditto! A number of people keep their RVs at the park, and come several times a month- such is the draw of the music and the people there. It's a very unique place that you should check out.
My wife Cathy and I went to Triple Creek for eight days in June. We were welcomed with open arms and treated like life long family. We have never been here before but were treated like family. They have some long term residents there that also treated us like family. We will definitely be going back. Mark and Karen were superb hosts. About five of the eight days we were there it rained. This place is located about 2.5 miles from the paved highway on a dirt road. The road got muddy as expected with four inches of rain, but never had a problem getting in or out. Quiet, peaceful, tranquil, is about the only way to describe this place. Just the sounds of the wildlife is all you hear. Very very nice place and owners.
