Nice campground, nothing fancy but close to beaches, resurants etc. and a GREAT price. Onsite owner is very nice. Some sites do need to have tree limbs trimmed so they don't hit the top of motorhome.
What a small gem. Nothing fancy just very friendly owners on site, large back in campsites with shade and FHU. Nice clean bathhouse. Lots of open spaces to walk the pups. Tucked away from noise but close to great beaches, etc. Stayed May 2018.
Well let me say that my wife and I have been at a lot of RV sites on our trip from west to east and this place has been the best bang for the buck we have stayed at bar none. Small but well maintained and very quite. No long term folks that make a place trashy and loud. Placed back in like we like it but close to the main stuff. We don't mind the nice trees and had no problem with our satellite and backing my 32 foot coach in to there spots was not tough. Real nice hook ups for the place has been setup great. Lots of open space also. Not a luxury place but just a good place to be and spend time with family and friends. Very nice folks that own the Wishing Well Campground and you can tell they take pride in the business and what they offer. Got to know a few folks that keep coming back and they say the same thing. Just down to earth folks that have customers that like what they have done. They have my vote and I will remember this place. Maybe I should not spread the word and save it for myself. Not.
What a sweet campground. Quiet and well kept. We felt very comfortable and safe here. Terry the owner was a super nice guy. We will return.
My family just spent our vacation staying at this beautiful camp ground. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds and the owners. The only down fall was there was no fire pit. But other than that it was great.
Just arrived and finished setting up. Very familiar with the area, but never camped it before. Always rented on Sunset Beach in the Summer for vacations. Great little spot. Nice shady site. Well maintained park. Very quiet at this time of year!! Beautiful weather! Did have a problem at first with low voltage coming through my surge protector. Frig kept beeping with a no AC warning, but everything seems to have settled down. Water pressure is on the low side, but not a big deal. We will be here for a week and will report anything that might change our rating.
What a rare and beautiful little campground. Very nice tent and pop-up section which is my style of camping. I've been stopping there a couple of times a year for several years now and only wish I'd discovered it sooner. Listen to the Whippoorwills and the Bobwhites calling in the woods. Ahhhh...thanks for being there Wishing Well!
Stopped by the Wishing Well again. This was my third stay there this year, have stayed for many days and enjoyed the quiet and peaceful country. Stop by and stay awhile, you will be glad you did. Pat will welcome you with open arms and will make your stay a comfortable one.
This is an out of the way campground that is just beautiful. Very well maintained, quiet and safe...very friendly owners. Staying here for a week....satellite works with trees...come and stay...just relax...or go into town..your choice..but you will be glad you came...small but nice.
We found the park to be in great shape. Trees but they did not block the satellite. We would stay there in the future.
