Area Attractions

Alamogordo is a charming town offering a pleasant year-round climate. Holloman Air Force Base, home to the 49th Wing, is a short drive down Highway 70 to the west. White Sands National Monument, 26 miles from Alamogordo, contains the world's largest concentration of gypsum sand dunes. The National Solar Observatory in Lincoln National Forest is open for tours. Also in the area is the White Sands Missile Range, which features a missile museum and the Trinity atom bomb site.

Stayed here and I would say it was a nice place. Quiet and lots of amenities. 50 amp sites are all back in. Site was big enough to park our pickup beside the 5th wheel.
