Stayed a week and really enjoyed it. Honored PA discount with no problem. Full hookups. Clean, quiet, and well-kept. Nice bathroom and showers. Al does a good job maintaining the park. Seems like someone was always around and available. Downtown Chappell was within walking distance. I ate at Burgie's a couple of times, great BBQ shrimp salad. Enjoyed talking to Ms. Barbara and Mr. Brian. Just down-home folks and very hospitable. I will be going back.
It's a pretty bare bones park. Friendly folks. Very low price. Wifi exists, but is not very reliable. No reservations possible, but don't worry. I really doubt the park will be full. Not much to do around the area, but is a great overnight.
Park and facilities are extremely well maintained. Restrooms and showers are new, clean and spacious, and well-lit. Only 2 block walk to town with good restaurants (I recommend the Rusty Bucket, a bar/grill with excellent food, large menu selection, and TVs to watch sports). I don't see how they can do this for such a low rate but I'll be stopping by every time I'm in the area.
This was a WONDERFUL RV park. Not only were the staff friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms spotless, but the staff also warned all the guests about an impending thunderstorm, and where to go in the event of a tornado.
