Wildlife roams leisurely in the surrounding area and occasionally through the campground.

In addition to the river, there are other fishing and hunting locations available. Nearby Fort Stewart Army Base is one of the largest military bases in the nation. We stayed one night as a layover and the hospitality was great. Checking in was a breeze. Mr. Spell led us to our spot and ensured it met our needs. The campground itself is sand packed hard enough to easily support our leveling jacks without blocks under them. The showers were clean with plenty of hotwater. It's far enough away from Savannah to be out in the country, but access to it is pretty easy. If we come by this way again we wouldn't hesitate to stay.
What a great campground rustic yet clean and beautiful. The owners are very gracious and the camp host is amazing. We give it 5 stars. Laundry is available. Planned on one night staying another day. One of our new favorites!!!
The owner could not have been nicer and the park was clean and quiet. The cell phone service was not good but that's not all bad. We have been there twice and will be going back.. I wish it was today.
Moss Oaks is a nice, quiet, clean campground. We had good internet signal there, but our phone signals weren't that great.
