Highlights

18 total RV sites (3 Pull Thrus). Can accommodate RVs up to 42ft. The back in and tent sites have river frontage, WiFi, hot showers, bathhouse, hiking, nature trails, and pet friendly. Wading is allowed, there are no fish. Two charming cabins available for rent. Motorcycles/Jeep/Antique Car Clubs are welcome.

Important Campground Notes

Open year round, weather permitting. PA discount is valid Monday thru Wednesday nights only. PA discount is not valid during holidays and holiday weekends. Reservations by phone only. Please inquire about other weekly and monthly discounts. PA discount applies to nightly rate only. No mini bikes, ATVs, or go carts. No fishing. Pet friendly. *Rates include tax. Rates are for up to four people. Rate is for one vehicle and RV per site. $2.00 for each additional vehicle.

Directions

From Helen: Take Hwy 75 North to Hiawassee. The campground is on the right in the valley about 1/2 mile after the Appalachian Trail. From Hiawassee: Go East on Hwy 76 and turn right on Hwy 75 heading towards Helen. It's about 7 miles down road after Deer Lodge Restaurant on the left in Moody Hollow Valley.

Approximately one mile from the Appalachain Trail and High Shoals Falls. Located five miles from Brasstown Ball Mountain. Located 13 miles from Bavarian town of Helen which includes Authentic German bakery and restaurants along with quaint shops, carriage rides, putt putt golf, helicopter rides, and more. Located 13 miles from Hiawassee which includes many quaint shops, great restaurants, activities on Lake Chatuge, The Georgia Mountain Fair and Anderson Music Hall, Funworld (Movie Theater, games, laser tag, go carts, and batting cages). 30 minute drive to Brasstown Valley Resort and Golf Course. Play the beautiful 18 hole links course nestled in a valley or go horseback riding on their many trails.

Regular Rate: $70-$100.00 Passport America Discount: 10% Type of Rental: Napping Cabin: Sleeps 2 (queen size bed) a nice step above tent camping, close to the bath house and has a porch overlooking the river. Hemlock Cabin: Sleeps 2 adults and 2 to 4 children in the padded loft (blankets or sleeping bags recommended), a cozy cottage with queensize bed and full bath, porch overlooks a fire ring, picnic table and the river. Both cabins have a small refrigerator and microwave. Linens Provided: Yes Notes: Reservations recommended. Discount is not valid during holidays and holiday weekends. Clean pets welcome in cabins. No smoking .
