Camp on the Pioneer Village museum property and walk to see the attractions. Basic camping facility with hookups but can't beat the location.
We really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff we encountered were very FRIENDLY. I would visit this RV Park again.
Heading home to Canada from Florida and had to find a spot to hide from the weather….found this little gem of a park!! Owner was on site, so helpful and friendly and so was the camp host couple….small park being upgraded with big spots and full hook ups!! Located in a small town so at night was so, so quiet and dark - great to sleep!! Had to extend our stay a couple times and they were more than accommodating with a spot. We will definitely go back and would recommend it for anyone wanting some peace & quiet.
Pro: beautiful place nestled in Ponderosa pines on top of mountain. Laundry, full hookup. Quiet with friendly mule deer begging. Sites r spacious Con: I0 miles of rough very dusty mountain road.
Great choice for a no frills, safe, clean one night stay!
5 Stars .. Highly recommend this Rv park. Excellent customer service. Rick camp host was so friendly. Genuinely kind person. He offered help you normally don’t expect from Camp Host. Wish we had more time and stayed extra days. Love the Rv park. Everything and everywhere was cleaned, laundry room to bath house and the campground. Thank You Rick! Hope to see you again
Small park, be sure and call for reservations and for availability. People are exceedingly nice. My tow battery was dead one I unhooked they went around and found jumper cables and got my car started. Very friendly and went out of their way. Mostly 30 amp hookups but still a nice little park. We will stay here again.
This little Park is a gem. It's well laid out close to the interstate still did not get any noise from it. There were two trains went by during the day never heard any at night. The pool looks very clean and nice. Definitely put this one of our favorite places. The office people are very pleasant.
This is a no-frills park. It's $17 per night so I can't complain. Reasonably quiet. No one to greet you. You have to call in and hope to reach someone. I was able to get the WiFi code and surprisingly it worked very well. It's fine for an overnight and mostly due to the money savings, I would come here again.
Lovely stay from 03/06/24 to 03/14/24 in spot H0044. This is a 55+ resort however, I did see lots of grandkids with this visit. Amenities include 2 pools/ 2 jacuzzis/nightly music & entertainment, a bar, food, plus a load of crafting shops. Got a 50% discount and my stay was only $375.00.
We've stayed here several times and absolutely Love it!!! They treat you like family. Very clean and all the staff is Very helpful and friendly... Can't wait to get back!!
I've been involved with Big Oaks RV Resort (formerly Park) for the past 20 years. The improvements to the Resort over the past 5 years has been simply amazing. We have added an Outdoor Activity Center, Pavilion, Complete renovation on the Swimming Pool and Pool area, Laundry Room, added numerous ground plants, ground covers, fencing to just to list a few of the recent accomplishments while maintaining many of our Resort Family who have returned year after year over the past 20 years. We welcome new Resort Family; our motto "Come as a Guest and leave as Family" is proven year after year. Please come by to visit our Resort anytime you are in the area.
Very sweet little campground, convenient to MCNP. Was very peaceful, has just what you need. The owner is very friendly.
Simple, affordable campground with level, graveled sites. Easy access with a large driveway entrance and wide camp roads. We stayed 3 nights and had a pull thru site for our motorhome and tow. New owner has made many improvements. Office building in front with a very clean laundry, game room and bathroom. WiFi provided and worked well. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.
Nice park! Stayed here from 1/11/24 to 3/28/24. The community was very friendly and there were scheduled activities throughout the month. Very secure and great weather! Swimming pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained.
Beautiful well kept RV park. Very peaceful & quiet!
Very clean park including bathroom/showers and laundry room. All pads are blacktop and fairly level. I’d recommend spending just a few more dollars to get a river spot. The rec room is nice to stretch out on bad weather days.
This was a perfect overnight stay for us, close to family. Very peaceful, quiet area. We met Tom and he was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
nice park. very quiet. all sites dirt but the ones we've been on have been level. campground hosts are nice people. the U.P. in Michigan is breathtaking
We stayed at Pecan Park Riverside for 7 nights. Nice park, easy to navigate, well shaded, seemed to be a number of full-time campers but park was clean and well kept. Had heavy rain so had areas of standing water. Sites were not bad. Our 35.5' 5th wheel fit ok, with 22' truck. Friendly staff. We stayed to visit Austin and San Antonio. Park located in a rural area. Would stay again.
