50 total RV sites, can accommodate RVs up to 45ft, back ins, pull thrus, 30 amp, full hookups, sewer, dump station, tent sites, Cable TV, restrooms, showers, laundry, ice, heated swimming pool, clubhouse, playground, recycling, nature watching, basketball, rental accommodations/cabins. We purchased the campground in 2017 and are family owned and operated. We believe in bringing people back to nature. Family and pet friendly campground. We have a new pool, recently ungraded restrooms with free hot showers, two laundry facilities and campground store offering necessities. Free Wi-Fi hotspot at the office. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Area Attractions: Located nine miles North of Cooperstown. Near beautiful Otsego Lake, Glimmerglass Opera, several golf courses, Baseball Hall of Fame and much more!
Important Campground Notes
As of 05/14/2020 - Restroom and showers are closed until further notice. Open May thru October. Two nights minimum stay required to receive PA discount. PA discount is valid Sunday thru Thursday nights only. PA discount is not valid during holidays, holiday weekends and the week of the Baseball Hall of Fame induction (in July, please call for dates and details). Reservations and driveups welcome. No discounts on tent sites. Up to 6 people allowed per campsite. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome.
FROM THE NORTH (Montreal, Plattsburgh, Lake Placid): Take I-87 (Adirondack Northway) South to the NYS Thruway I-90 and travel west until exit 30 (Herkimer/Mohawk).Travel south on Route 28 for 12 miles, turn left onto Route 20 East for 9 miles.Turn right onto Route 80 South and travel 1 mile. FROM THE SOUTH (New York City): Take I-87 (NYS Thruway) North to ALBANY to I-90 West (NYS Thruway)to exit 25A toward Schenectady/Binghamton (10 miles). I-88 West to EXIT 24 for US 20/Duanesburg (5 miles) US RT. 20 West to RT 80/ SPRINGFIELD CENTER (45 Miles). Turn Left onto RT 80 SOUTH. Continue 1 mile. FROM THE EAST (Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Boston): Travel west on I-90 (NYS Thruway) to exit at 25A (Rotterdam). Travel west on I-88 for 5 miles to Duanesburg Exit 24. Travel west onUS Route 20 for 45 miles, turn left onto Route 80 South. Doubleday Campground is 1 mile on the right. FROM THE WEST (Toronto, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse); Travel east on I-90 (NYS Thruway) to exit 30 (Herkimer/Mohawk). Travel south on Route 28 for 12 miles, turn left onto Route 20 East (9 miles). Turn right onto Route 80 South continue 1 mile.
