Aspen Ridge has been a part of the South Fork and Upper Rio Grande community for many years. Providing an inviting environment for guests, family, and friends. Many have been coming to this area for generations. South Fork is located in Rio Grande county and surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Rio Grande National Forest, mountain views and wildlife. 43 total full hookup sites with 30/50 amp service (10 patio sites, 20 backin sites, and 13 pull thru sites) can accommodate any size RV, tent sites, pull thrus, back-ins, 30/50amp, full hookups, dump station, Wi-Fi, showers, restrooms, laundry, recreation hall with full kitchen, dog run, fire pit, game room, fish cleaning station, ATV, and fishing. Area Attractions: Bring your fishing pole and off-road vehicle (or rent one!). Visitors come to South Fork for the many UTV/ATV trails in the area. We are located on the Silver Spur ATV Trail with access to the County Road 15 ATV trails right from your site. The Town of South Fork requires a $10 permit and proof of insurance to ride on the Silver Spur Trail. Enjoy fishing in the Rio Grande River or at one of the 14 lakes in the area. There is a walking path that leads to the community center, church services, visitor center, basketball court, baseball/softball fields and groceries. Pagosa Springs Hot Mineral pools (45 minutes away). Sand Dunes National Monument, Chimney Rock, Durango, Amish Community, The Historic Silver Mining Town of Creede, plus many local town events held around San Luis Valley. Park Events: Pot lucks on most Thursday Nights ($5 per person). Pancakes-n-Sausage or Biscuits-n-Gravy (rotates every other Sunday) at 11:00 ($3 per person). $25 per couple for the June-September Potluck Season covers the meat cost for that potluck, you bring a side dish. Lots of fun and fellowship. Weather permitting, evening fire-pit gatherings. Bring your hot dogs and a side on Sunday evening for the hot dog cookout club house. Important Campground Notes
Open May 1st through October 30th. PA not valid June 16th through August 31st. PA is valid for 2 nights. Reservations and drive-ups welcome. No discounts on tent sites. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome. *Rates: Back-ins $38, PA $19.00. Pull-thrus $40, PA $20.00. All rates are based on 2 people. $3each additional person over 5 years old.
From Hwy 160: Turn onto Hwy 149 and go .7 miles. You will pass, Community Building & Emanuel Chapel Church. We are on the right hand side with a 6 foot woven fence along highway. Headed into South Fork from Creede: We are just past the Rio Grande River on your left. We have a 6 foot woven fence along the highway side of property. There is a large entry way shortly after you pass Aspen Ridge Cabins.
