Testimonials

Great price. Peaceful setting in the woods with a small lake where you can walk around or fish. Utilities old but workable. I couldn't connect to wifi. Sites are a bit tight and not super level. Overall I had a very pleasant stay here and feel I got a really good deal at the PA price.

Not for Big Rigs. About 8 miles on some 2 lane roads off I-65. Nice big woodsy hilly lots. Some pull -thru's with easy access. Full hook ups. WIFI somewhat. Able to walk dog all around. It looks like some seasonal folks stay here. Pond to fish on bank only. It would be great for the nature lovers.

My wife and I had a very good experience with Cherokee Campground owner. We got into a stalled traffic flow on I-20 east and did not get to the campground after 8:00 PM. We had called ahead and the owner said we had a spot. Upon our arrival the owner led us to our site. We discovered a problem with our motor after we arrived which prevented us from not being able to drive it. We do not tow a vehicle so we had no way to get the needed repair parts. The owner of Cherokee Campground said he had a car we could us and even offered to put gas in the car for us. We would say the owner was a true good Christian Samaritan.
