70 total RV sites, can accommodate any size RV, water and electric sites, pull thrus, partial hook-ups, 20/30/50 amp service. Surrounded on three sides by the Watonwan River. The grounds are filled with 100 year old oak trees, dump station, WiFi, hot showers, biking, restrooms, basketball court, volleyball, bird sanctuary, canoe launches, horseshoes, playgrounds, fishing, hiking, picnic tables & fire rings at each site, building rentals, open shelters, firewood, ice, RV Storage (in the winter months). Area Attractions: Close to several Golf Courses in the Mankato area. Mankato has River Hills Mall with many different retail stores. Park Events: Fall Festival the first Saturday in October. Friday & Saturdays in October there is Northern Frights.
Important Campground Notes
Open: May 1st through October 31st (weather permitting). PA discount is not valid Fridays & Saturdays, holiday weekends and special event weekends. Call for available dates. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome, but must be on a leash.
Located 8 miles from Lake Crystal and 12 miles from Mankato. From the north: Take Highway 169 (south of Mankato) for 12 miles to Garden City. Turn left into Garden City and watch for the signs. From the south: From I-90, turn north in Blue Earth onto Highway 169. Drive north 35 miles to Garden City. Turn right on Washington Street into campgrounds on Fairgrounds Road.
