Charlottesville also offers Mitchie Tavern and Jefferson's University of Virginia. Richmond (45 miles) hosts the Museum of the Confederacy plus the Virginia Science Museum. Nearby is Williamsburg and Yorktown. Also Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens.
