35 total RV sites. 28 full hook-up sites, 7 water and electric only, 31 pull-throughs, can accommodate RVs up to 150' (Big Rig Friendly), Free Wi-Fi (limited, call for details), water, sewer, and electricity. There is a small washroom available; it includes a coin-operated shower, coin-operated clothes washer and dryer along with commode and lavatory. A small Yarn & Gift Shop in park; which also has book swapping and necessities such as tooth paste, tooth brushes, combs, etc. Also can be used as small club house with game table. Sit by the pond, look at the windmill and solar system which keep the pond filled; mini-storage units available at times, garbage cans available at all sites, and picnic at pond. Free fishing. The park is surrounded by trees. Located 1/2 mile from La Luz or 10 miles South of Tularosa and 2 miles North of Alamogordo, 71 miles North of the Texas state line (just North of El Paso, TX), and 65 miles East of Las Cruces, NM. Whitesands Space Museum is in Alamogordo and Whitesands National Park is 15 miles due West of park on Highway 70 West. |
