Located 50 miles from Safford and 180 miles from Tucson. US 191 to 1st street north of the railroad station. Turn right then immediate left onto Frisco Ave. Proceed 1/2 mile to the park.

This is a nice clean campground located next to the San Francisco River. The Big Horn sheep come right down into the campground. We have stayed here twice and plan on coming back.

City-owned. Price is very good. Quiet location away from the highway and next to the river. Within walking distance to tourist sites. Good utilities. Fast internet (I was able to stream with it). No cable, but not a problem with the good wifi. Well-maintained by inmates (I like that program). Great value for the price. I recommend it.

Beautiful rv campground on the banks of the San Francisco River. All around are cliffs and mountain scenery. Rocky Mt Sheep up on the slopes but told the sheep with new born come right into the Rv park during Apri - May with the newborn. We are already planning a repeat trip! The price is right with Passport America.

We stayed there the middle of May, 2017. (five days) We had a very enjoyable stay. The Host were fantastic!!! Recommend this RV Park to everyone. The view is BEAUTIFUL!! We have stayed there several times and are looking forward to staying there again soon. P.S. You should make reservations before you go.
