It's a journey approximately 100 miles through Unaweep Canyon with not one stop sign or traffic light from Whitewater to Naturita. There are thousands of acres of public lands available for your enjoyment. Some of the greatest hiking, ATV and riding trails, and rock climbing experiences are just minutes away. You can also enjoy fishing, deer and elk hunting (unit 61), Indian artifact hunting, 4-wheeling, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking, rafting, bird watching and just being in the great outdoors. We are across the street from a grocery store and gas station, next door to the visitor center.
